TFCH-TF Heater :
The TFCH heater series is designed for high temperature hot water applications and also for high temperature thermal fluid applications. Its large furnace can be fired with any fuel. It will burn solid waste an open bottom furnace.
In a TFCH heater the fluid flow is controlled and balanced through each tube. Orifices are sometimes used to optimize flow distribution. Small diameter tubes are used with convection staggered tube arrangement to optimize heat transfer and flow distribution. The tubes are tangent in the furnace. A gas tight inner casing is provided to ensure a gas tight envelope.
The clients for high temperature hot water applications will be institutional like cities, universities, airports, military bases, where a central boiler room is used to distribute heat to a great number of buildings like in district heating.
It applies also to larger capacities than the Aquatube boiler series. The largest size of Aquatube provides 40millions BTU/hr where as the TFCH can go as high as 150millions BTU/hr in a single unit. The TFCH needs a pump to maintain a minimum flow in the unit at all time.
The thermal fluid applications will be clients like petrochemical industries ,wood processing industries ,mines, food processing etc, where the fluid temperature must be very high like 550F to 600F (288C to 315C)and must be accurately maintain around the set point. Steam or hot water can be produced by adding heat exchanger.
